This 45-minute performance is a ghost story that details the story of the creation of ‘Scattering Salt’ (a sold-out hit at this year’s Brighton Fringe Festival). Performance, monologue, tarot game, rite, hallucination, and mermaid song, it is as much a celebration of the living as a memory saved for the dead. 'What a thin veil you have, darling'. Performance text & narration by Kit Danowski, dramaturgy by Erika Hughes, and featuring Ayse Fletcher, Josh Kelly, and Andrew Perez. This production is made possible in part from a Research and Innovation grant from the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Portsmouth.

''Scattering Salt' is a performance and ritual, a ghost story and an installation. It's the story of two separated souls, one who left too early, and one who is always late. There are mirrors, mermaids, dance breaks and haunting. Created for an undergro
