A DJ can make or break your event. I pride myself on filling dance floors with song after song incorporating your tastes and blending in guests’ requests.
There are DJs who will give you a price below £200 and tell you, “My equipment is superb” or use the phrase “The best DJ around”. They may even offer discounts just to get your business or fill dates. The best in the business will have limited availability so book early.
As a professional DJ, with 22 years of experience, I prefer to offer a price that befits not only my equipment but also my music knowledge and the ability to get your dance floor full at your event.
If you are going to book a DJ, don’t book the cheapest nor the one who tells you they are the greatest - you need one that you believe suits YOU and will be able to confidently carry out YOUR requirements. It may cost you more than you first thought but are you willing to take that risk?
Look around, spend time reading what they have emailed to you as a reply, consider the detail and check out social media and their website before you book - check for staged photographs or question yourself as to why you never see photographs of people up dancing. Make sure they have all of the correct licenses needed: PLI, ELI, PAT, business insurance for vehicle, PMSE to name a few (and I will guarantee some DJs will not have them!) When you book a professional DJ, you receive expert knowledge in events and music along with a superb set up to befit your venue and your occasion.

A professional DJ should have no untidy wiring, professional booth, controlled lighting and clear crisp sound with the experience to cover your and your guests’ music tastes presented in a flawless fashion.

I keep myself as discrete as possible when setting up and present your night in the way you prefer. With a background in stage, arenas, radio and television you can be assured of a professional approach to presenting making you the centre of attention.

My equipment is kept tidy and is designed to look the part in your venue with smart lighting and DJ booth with all wires and cables neatly hidden away to ensure my set-up befits your Wedding.

On the day I will be dressed in full suit and tie to match your colour scheme. It is important as your Wedding DJ/Host to look the part.

Always remember not to be afraid to ask and don’t book a DJ on price alone.

Don’t leave your DJ or entertainment to the last minute. Book and plan as the best will be taken months if not years in advance!

I have bookings in already for 2020 and 2021 so don’t hang around as the dates will fill up!

My 2018 is already very busy so if you are looking to book for your , Corporate Event or it is worth enquiring soon.

All bookings are covered by contract and unlike cheap suppliers I won’t cancel on you.

I offer a free no obligation telephone meeting but if you wish to meet in person before booking there is now a fee charged for my time and services, which is deductible if you choose to book. Unfortunately, there are too many time wasters so these things have to be done as my time, especially with family, is valuable.

For example, I had to postpone a family day out in half term to meet with a couple, demonstrate uplighting and a few other bits. In all it took up two hours of my day. They verbally agreed to book so another couple of hours was taken up typing everything up and sending out documents. Therefore, to stop time wasters I will charge for any pre-booking meeting. They then decided that they were not going to book but took EIGHT days to have the courage to say anything - they spent part of the meeting moaning that they had been let down by their photographer so maybe I had a lucky escape from people wanting to book cheap!

Remember if you are having a school disco, don’t ruin the experience for the children by scrimping and hoping a teacher can play loud music.

Poor lights and no “Despacito” (only the biggest selling song of the year!) what a real let down that can be!
