If you’ve visited Adventure Golf recently, you may have spotted a huge new addition…

Our incredible dinosaur skull and rib cage have arrived, bringing even more prehistoric theming to the course! 🦖

The project was a combination of digital and practical design work by the incredibly talented Martin Clapp, who is part of our amazing Art & Design team!

Martin’s work has been part of Adventure Island for decades. He modelled and created Pharaoh’s Fury in the late 1990s and has been involved in theming our dark ride since it first opened as Beelzee Bob’s Trail in 1999. He later helped transform it into Over the Hill and then Spooksville, rethemed the latest version of the Crooked House, and has had a hand in so much of the theming you see around the park today.

The rib cage alone took around a year to create, fitted in between Martin’s many other projects.

And we’re not finished yet… our team are continuing to add even more dinosaur bones and themed features to the area.

We’re incredibly proud of how well our T-Level placements with South Essex Colleges Group are going so far! ✨

Over the past few months, our students have been getting hands-on experience within the Adventure Island Digital Marketing team, supporting real projects, creating content, developing ideas and gaining valuable insight into the fast-paced world of marketing and events.

It’s been fantastic to see their confidence, creativity and skills grow already, and we’re excited to continue supporting them throughout their placements.

Dinosaurs are taking over Adventure Island on Saturday 20th June! 🦖

Get ready for a Jurassic adventure the whole family will love, with incredible dinosaur meet & greets throughout the day:

12:00pm – Baby Dinosaurs
12:45pm – Velociraptor
1:30pm – Triceratops
2:15pm – Spinosaurus
3:15pm – Velociraptor
4:00pm – Triceratops
4:45pm – Spinosaurus
5:30pm – Baby Dinosaurs

Each appearance lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Please note: Children must have an Adventure Island wristband to meet the dinosaurs. The appearance area is first come, first served, so arrive early to avoid missing out!
