⭐ESTURIANA SPA⭐ When I made this piece for the Harwich Festival back in 2018 it was a temporary sculpture for the festival.. A mermaid on the bottom of an old fibreglass boat... 🧜 She was so loved that Harwich Haven authority decided to give her a home watching over the water on ha'penny pier... 🚤 ⛴️ ⛵

She is a much loved part of Harwich, her name comes from the river Stour, the water she protects.. ⭐⭐⭐

Nearly 10 years of exposure to salt water on some fragile glazes and a friendly visit from lichen means she needs a bit of a spa.. So I'm cleaning up, chiselling out and firing new transfers... Sorry if you've missed seeing her.. There is a you tube video on my channel showing her being made in old bank studios...

We will do a welcome back gathering once she's back in her home..🧜 🧜

⭐THE WRONG END OF THE STICK⭐...

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm slightly obsessed with toilets...it's a good leveller, we all need and should have a right to one but I also believe toilets should be beautiful.. 💙💙💙

So for there is a return of the toilet tour.. Looking at public Conveniences starting with the Romans to award winning 🚽🚽🚽 a new addition to the town and everything in between..
