A cake so beautiful, I had to paint it. 💛
When cake becomes art… and then inspires more art.

I love painting things that catch my eye and make me happy.

It’s a complete dopamine fix, especially when the subject is as beautiful as this floral masterpiece by Sugar Lump Lane

What began as a quick sketch turned into one of those paintings where I completely lost track of time. Those are always my favourite pieces, the ones created simply because something sparked joy and I couldn’t resist capturing it.

Swipe through to see the journey from inspiration to finished painting.

Which slide is your favourite: the sketch, the painting process, the finished artwork, or the cake itself?

One of those days where you’re absolutely bursting to share something… but can’t. Yet. 👀✨

A trip to Chelmsford today, taking in the beautiful mural at John Lewis Chelmsford

I always leave days like this feeling inspired by the people, the creativity and the stories behind local businesses.

As for what I was really there for…

Let’s just say there’s something very exciting on the horizon. 🎨

A little bit of magic.
A lot of creativity.
And a project I’m incredibly excited to be part of.

That’s all you’re getting for now. 🤫

Originally hand-painted by Laura Jordan.

Father’s Day inspired me to turn some of the world’s most iconic men’s fragrances into art.

Using a repeating tile technique often seen in wallpaper and textile design, I painted four individual cards that come together to create one continuous pattern. Then the cards are rearranged and the artwork evolves again.

There’s something fascinating about seeing familiar fragrance bottles transformed into paint, colour and design.

Which fragrance can you spot first?

Would you hang this as wallpaper, frame it as artwork, or gift it to the fragrance lover in your life?

A little bit Studio 54, a little bit Paris runway, and a lot of creative joy.

I’ve been exploring fashion illustration again, combining loose ink lines with soft watercolour washes to capture movement, personality and that unmistakable 70s glamour.

There’s something magical about translating fashion into paint rather than pixels. Every brushstroke tells a different story.

This one felt particularly special to create.

What era of fashion inspires you most?
