IDA - International Drama Academy

IDA - International Drama Academy Based in Essex, UK, the International Drama Academy was founded in 2017 to provide students with quality classes in acting, singing, dancing, film and TV.

IDA has now been awarded LAMDA centre status. The International Drama Academy Limited was founded in 2017 by Irfaan Rafiq – graduate of Shakespeare’s Globe Education, Master’s Degree Program. The academy was founded in response to a perceived market need – namely the need of young people to gain quality, international life experiences as one of the prerequisites to successful entrance to drama sch

ool. The organisation will establish a reputation for providing skilled, well-traveled artists and enable our students to discover parts of the world through the arts. IDA will provide students with quality assured classes in Acting, Singing, Dancing, Film and TV. IDA students’ lives will be enriched through their international training experiences, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the industry. IDA is committed to valuing diversity in the theatre and we strongly believe that the international experiences with IDA can enable students to bring fresh ideas, thinking and approaches to the world of drama and theatre.
