Last few days of my lovely panto guests. Although one is staying on for a couple more days as he’s so comfy here! Taking down the decs in the guest lounge today. Then a week’s break until Bodyguard arrive. Still one room left theatre folk!

Proud to announce that To Be Or Not To B & B has hosted its first engagement!
Charley & Jordan have stayed here separately for 4 shows. They’ve returned this week with Only Fools & Horses & they’re now a couple. Yesterday, Jordan went down on one knee in the pouring rain on the seafront & Charley said “yes”!

An empty house after the whole Bonny & Clyde tour was cancelled on the day of opening in Southend.
Room Two still available for next week’s show Unfortunate. The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch.

My long Indian travel adventure is now well & truly behind me & there’s been a long gap with no tours coming to Southend since my return end of March. A fair amount of bookings were taken whilst on my travels though & I’m now spring cleaning the rooms, ready to welcome the guys from Bonnie & Clyde, including two serial returners!

Not posted for a long while, but still here, still hosting lovely theatre folk. Fully booked for Panto & rooms are getting booked up right into Summer 2024. Still some shows where all 3 rooms are available for those of you who like to share.

A stunning three storey Victorian townhouse, situated in the beautiful conservation area of Southend, opened in 2014, as digs for theatre professionals.
The house is a pleasant 7 mins stroll along the esplanade from Cliffs Pavilion & a 15 minute walk from the Palace Theatre.
You'll be sharing the house just with myself - a mother & mother-in-law of actors – so I know what you want & more importantly, what you don’t want!
There's one floor for sole use by theatre professionals, offering 2 large doubles & a small double plus a bathroom, with bath & electric shower.
There's a very cosy den/dining room in the basement, which you have almost exclusive use of, which also has an honesty bar.
Each room has a small TV/DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, full WiFi.
Full, shared use of the large well-equipped kitchen with a range oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Individual food storage for guests.
Use of the landscaped garden with plenty of lounging/eating areas.
Prices: £212 per touring week (4 - 7 nights) for Rooms One & Two (£13 extra per night for double occupancy)
£175 per touring week for Room Three - single occupancy only.
There are no pets in the house.
