We’re delighted to announce that at next month’s meeting we’re hosting a lecture from the brilliant Steve Valentine!

Steve is based in the USA, but he’s over here for a week or two and has agreed to come and lecture for us at the July 6th meeting. His lecture and one-man show were one of the highlights at the Blackpool convention 2024, and as he started his career in Magic with Southend Sorcerers, it’s very fitting that he will be visiting his old stomping ground!

Steve’s one man show is full of references to our club and it’ll be brilliant to welcome him home! A well known and respected magician and actor, Steve’s visit is something you really won’t want to miss!

At next months meeting we have the legendary Michael Ammar joining us as part of his latest lecture tour! Michael is simply one of the best working magicians in the world and will be bringing his wealth of expertise to Southend on the 1st of June!

Just heard the sad news that one of our former members, Keith Norman, has passed away. For those that never met him, he was a really funny, kind and sharing member. As an established children’s entertainer, he appeared in the first couple of seasons for our Dixon shows. So sad to hear that he’s no longer with us. Thoughts and prayers are with Jane and the rest of the family at this sad time.
