🚨 **IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDING PSA** 🚨
AI technology is advancing incredibly quickly, and whilst it can be fun and useful, there is a serious side that we cannot ignore.
A photograph or video of a person can potentially be manipulated, repurposed or used to create entirely new content without their knowledge. For a company working primarily with children, families and vulnerable individuals, we take that risk extremely seriously.
Because of this, FairyTail Moments is strengthening our photography and social-media safeguarding measures.
📸 Where photographs or videos taken at our events include members of the public, children, families or other individuals outside of our cast, we will cover/obscure identifiable faces and sensitive information before using the content publicly, or we simply won't publish it.
This includes information such as:
• Faces and identifiable individuals
• School names or uniforms
• House/road names and addresses
• Vehicle registration numbers
• Other information that could reasonably identify or locate someone
This is not about being alarmist — it is about being proactive.
We already take data protection seriously and have measures in place for the secure handling, storage and deletion of personal information and event imagery. We will continue to review these practices as technology develops.
Safeguarding is not something we are prepared to take chances with.
As a business working with children and families, we believe it is our responsibility to take every reasonable step we can to protect the people who trust us.
Your privacy, safety and peace of mind will always matter more to us than getting the perfect photograph or posting the perfect advert.
