📣 Coming Soon! Lucía Pizzani: Faunal Succession
Focal Point Gallery, Southend: 26 March – 30 May 2026

Travelling to KARST, Plymouth from 11 June – 1 August 2026 and Mostyn, Llandudno in Spring 2027

We are excited to announce ‘Faunal Succession’ a major new project by Lucía Pizzani () to explore environmental change across three coastal venues in Britain: Focal Point Gallery in Southend, KARST () in Plymouth and Mostyn () in Llandudno.
In the exhibition, Pizzani reimagines the coast through a ‘deep time’ lens linking geological transformation with contemporary questions of climate change, migration, and social transformation.

Faunal Succession will be formed around three immersive environments that merge sculpture, performance, and community participation. Each iteration will evolve in dialogue with local research and landscapes, partnering with community groups to develop workshops whose outcomes will be integrated into the final presentation. It will premiere at Focal Point Gallery, marking the first institutional exhibition in the UK by Pizzani, before travelling to KARST in Summer 2026 and Mostyn in Spring 2027.
