And so another SSC summer tour is over. Huge congratulations to Cathy McAdam, Vanessa Jane Osborn and the cast and crew of "Macbeth" for all their hard work in putting the show together. It was an excellent production and a remarkable achievement. We had a fabulous run with record breaking crowds and (apart from a brief unexpected interlude one evening at Leigh Library Gardens) we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Here's to more heatwaves next July !
As always, we would particularly like to thank all of our friends, supporters and newcomers for their lovely feedback and messages. To all of you who came to see us and braved the great outdoors (and the heavens were truly smiling on us this year) we would like to say a special THANK YOU.
