Crosswind Sessions Crosswind Sessions is Southampton’s new folk concert series set in the beautiful Edmund Kell Chapel SO15 2AY. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Showcasing some of the best musical talent on the instrumental folk scene today. Concert followed by a session, led by the invited band. Thank you for following Crosswind Sessions - Southampton's new folk concert series for 2026, ran in collaboration with Bunker178 Events - The Art House. Set in the beautiful Edmund Kell Chapel SO15 2AY, Crosswind Sessions will showcase some of the best musical talent on the instrumental folk scene today. Events will take place on a Friday evening, once every two months. Concert

Each concert will start at 7.30pm (doors 6.45pm), finishing at 9pm with a short interval where you are welcome to buy soft drinks, teas, coffees and refreshments (no alcoholic drinks will be on sale but you are welcome to bring your own). Session

The concert will be followed by an acoustic folk jam 'session' where folk musicians in the audience will be invited to play with the guest band. Like any good folk club, we aim to get as many musicians involved as possible! You are also welcome to stay and watch the session even if you don't play.
