"I'm Rachel Vega, a multi-genre DJ and producer best known for delivering high-energy sets that blend the best of Hardcore and Drum & Bass. I'm drawn to powerful vocals, uplifting melodies and tracks that leave room for creativity, allowing me to build seamless, energetic journeys rather than simply playing one track after another. Alongside Hardcore and Drum & Bass, I also love showcasing my passion for Makina and Hardstyle, bringing versatility to every performance.
One thing that's always been important to me is performing alongside an MC. I believe the best sets come from working together, feeding off each other's energy and creating a connection that keeps the dancefloor engaged from beginning to end.
My journey began in 2016, and over the following years I built my name through my Let's Mix Things Up mix series, weekly Dream FM radio show and performances across the UK. My first official booking was at The Music Box in Salisbury before teaming up with MC Emzo and DJ Flik B to form Female Fire.
In 2017, I discovered a passion for music production. My debut release, The Sax Track, became an unexpected success and remains my most-played track on SoundCloud, later inspiring a remix in 2025 after years of requests from fans. Since then, I've released original productions and collaborations with artists including Jakka B, Wilsxn and Burnout with all of my music and past radio shows available on SoundCloud, with some available to buy on Beatport.
Competing in the Clubland and Subb Sonic DJ competitions helped open the door to regular bookings, 2 of which being in the Subb Sonic Arena for the One Big NYE events. This was alongside residencies with Born 2 Be Hardcore (later Born 2 Collide). Over the years I've also performed for brands including Ravers Reunited, Eruption's Birthday Bash, Marc Smith's Stomp Events, One Big Bash, Music is Life, The Secret Society, The Ravers Choice and many more.
Joining the Mood Swings family led to one of the biggest highlights of my career, performing in Australia in 2019 for Syco Promotions. That experience was followed by further international bookings, including The Ultimate Getaway in Magaluf and Unity in the Sun in Kavos, giving me the opportunity to perform to audiences beyond the UK.
In recent years I've taken a step back from regular bookings to focus on developing as a producer, refining my sound and continuing to grow creatively. Whether I'm behind the decks, in the studio or performing alongside an MC, I'm always looking for ways to evolve and improve.
Every set I play is carefully planned to create an unforgettable experience, and I'm excited to continue releasing new music, collaborating with artists across the scene and seeing where the next chapter of my journey takes me."
