Scale is so important to us in this mini world of joy, and when we make things we try so so hard to make things to scale, but do you find it doesn’t always translate ? When I worked out the length of a roll of wallpaper I would have to wind 80cm of paper around my dowel to get an exact 1:12th scale length roll of wallpaper 😆 Of course we all know why that wouldn’t end up being to scale but it just shows you what concessions we have to make sometimes in the interests of realism 😊 And just out of interest how many of you have spent way way too much time making something of no use at all just because it’s cute like my rolls of wallpaper?
