Riff-heavy alternative rock from the gloomy city of Southampton.

Arid Wave were formed in late 2013 by brothers Ben (lead vox/guitars) and Will Palmer (drums) and Brogan Turner (bass/backing vox). Taking heavy inspiration from the 90's Seattle scene and post-grunge acts like Foo Fighters and Reuben, Arid Wave perform a heavy and uncompromising brand of rock that's only accentuated by their electric and high energy live show. With throat-shredding vocals, massive riffs and chaotic drums, Arid Wave are guaranteed to start a moshpit wherever they go.

Doomageddon came and doomageddon went..

Thank you SO much to everyone who poured out in support of Outsiderfest 6! Getting to bring the Southampton music community together once a year for a big blowout is one of the greatest privileges we have as a band and you guys never disappoint.

Massive thanks need to be given to and all their staff, , , and , as well as our secret mystery bassist for the night, who absolutely positively 100% wasn’t .

We’ve got a LOT of very cool s**t planned for this year that we can’t wait to start showing you all.

Hey, it’s one of those “end of year” posts.

Thanks to everyone for rockin’ with us in 2023, from dropping our biggest growing song ever, Life is Combat ft. to being made into literal muppets and beyond.

We have a big 2024 ahead of us and it all begins at on February 10th where we’ll close this chapter of AW and begin a new one.
