Huge respect to every single artist who stepped up and performed for us at the this month. Every act brought their absolute best to the room.

Placing raw lyricism and underground culture inside a contemporary art gallery changes the entire conversation. It proves our scene can hold its ground anywhere.

Big day for Music in the City . We are back for another year at John Hansard Gallery with a The Drop special.

Placing live rap inside a contemporary art space is a completely different lane from your standard venue so we are excited to do it all again. Following last year's milestone, we take over the gallery walls and turn it into a live stage today from 12–5 PM.

Last month was all about hometown energy and showing what happens when a room full of real MCs unite.

Salute to every spitter who took the mic and proved why this city's talent pool needs to be taken seriously

Two years down.

When we started The Drop, the goal was simple: build something proper for Southampton hip hop. A room that respects the music, a system that sounds right, and a stage that actually means something when you step on it.

Two years later, the scene is different. The talent was just coming up, it just needed a home.

Massive respect to every artist who took the mic, every DJ on the decks, and everyone who spent their hard-earned money to be in the room. This only works because you show up 👊

Year three starts now.
