October 2015 Half Term

2 Day Workshop

Drama Days is back with another 2 day holiday workshop crammed with theatre based activity, held, once again, at The Brook ~ Southampton's loveliest Music Venue and fast becoming the best theatre in town too!

After putting on an amazing devised performance based on The Pea & The Princess ~ a mash up of two lovely stories by Mini Grey & Lauren Child, Drama Days is returning for another October Half Term 2 day Workshop!

It may be cold and rainy outside, but at The Brook we will be bursting with sunshine and energy with plenty to keep you busy and happy. Take some time out of your holiday and join The Drama Days gang for two days packed with Drama Delights…

On Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th October 2015, we will, once again be taking over The Brook, Southampton’s Friendliest Music Venue, learning new drama skills and creating another sensational devised performance to show at the end of the second day.

Each day will be full of drama activities, enabling children to develop important drama and acting techniques such as improvisation, storytelling, mime and movement, devising and rehearsal and essential team building skills.

Drama Days is TOMORROW!!! It's finally time to open up The Brook (Theatre) and fill it with children. There are only a few spaces left, so if you know any 7~12 year olds who enjoy acting, fun drama games, devising stories and performing, why not get them booked onto the two day Summer School? Tuesday morning 17th February 2015 and the doors of The Brook opened much earlier than usual.... It was the first day of Drama Days Half Term Holiday Club, back for another two day Drama adventure! 19 children, mostly strangers, met in the foyer, nervously exchanging glances, saying hello and waiting with excited anticipation for the unknown that lay ahead...... After a quick tour of the Brook the children were launched into an energetic morning of warm up games including Rubber Chicken, Cat & Mouse, Good Evening your Majesty, In the land of upside-down, Word Tennis, Trickster, Family Portraits, Follow your Nose......
