Southampton Life Drawing

I am pleased to remind you of our next session at Hounsdown on the 20th .

In the last message I mentioned a meeting at the Royal Wi******er Hotel last Sunday . This was such an enjoyable day. I believe this was the first time the hotel had hosted a life drawing event .
The room allocated to us was perfect for our needs . Quite well lit, very quiet and private and opened directly on to their car park.
The cheese board supplied was really extensive and the tomato relish was extra special.
So, a big "thumbs up " to the hotel and their staff.

I hope to see you on Saturday for another enjoyable day.

Many thanks to all who came along for the session on the 21st.

I was pleased to have the opportunity to introduce Fraser to our group. This was the third time only that he had modelled ( twice before in my studio ) and the first time for a group.
It was a joy to see him become more relaxed as the day went on and I have since heard from him to say how much he enjoyed the experience and I thank you for making him feel welcome.
I hope you also enjoyed the challenge of a new model.

Our next session will be on the 4th April.

Many thanks to all who came along for the session on the 14th. I hope you had a rewarding and enjoyable time.

Special thanks to Andy, who brought in such a large and varied selection of art books , from which we could just take our pick. When Andy asked if he could bring in a few books to make some space at home , I thought perhaps 5 - 10. I should have been suspicious when I saw the truck back up ! Emoji

The hall wasn't available for another weekend in Feb, so we shall have to wait until March 7th.
