I created this cool UFO drawing from a tutorial on YouTube by It took me 4 hours 34 minutes! 🥳🤩

I love how the lights glow, and learned a couple of new Procreate techniques with this tutorial, and then added a few more lights and stars to make it a bit more mine.

I've got tendonitis (De Quervain's Tenosynovitis) in my thumb, I'm feeling lots of pain, and really miserable as I can't draw, or do much else. 😥

I've been taking painkillers, using an ice pack, and also this thumb support, but it's still really sore, like a bad sprain. 😟☹️

("It affects the thumb’s tendons – cords of tissue that connect muscles and bones. When the tendons around the base of the thumb are irritated or constricted, they swell. This thumb swelling can cause pain, tenderness and weakness in the hand").

Hi folks! I just thought I’d share some drawings I’ve done recently. The first one was from Monday’s Crazy Comic Club home education art session; and the others were from today where I was drawing on a Roblox game called ‘Speed Draw’ with my 2 youngest kids - very quick drawings, created within 3 minutes each. Not my best drawings, but fun and colourful! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷 My favourite is the cauliflower! 🤩

Hi everyone! I’ve been playing ‘Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’ on my iPad for the last 2 or 3 weeks, and this is my Camper Van interior - downstairs is a cool music studio, where you can play all the instruments; and the upstairs is the bedroom area, with lots of interesting lamps! 🛋️💡🎶🎸🎹🎤🥁

Hi, here are a couple of beautiful sea turtle necklaces I designed and created a few years ago, made from shrink plastic, black Sharpie, coloured pencils, glitter, and resin! 🐢

The last pink turtle (brooch) is made from glow-in-the-dark powder mixed with the resin, and then the design was drawn on using a black Posca pen, and glitter added then another coat of resin applied! 🐢

These were really fun to make, sell, and wear! 💕

Happy Tuesday to you! 🤩 Here’s a beautiful fluffy rainbow birdy I created last night from another tutorial by Art with Flo - just using one Procreate brush: ‘Oberon’, from the Drawing brush section. It gives a lovely creamy/soft pastel feel whilst drawing.

I had trouble sleeping last night and only had around 4 hours sleep. I’m pretty sure it’s my perimenopause hormones messing me about. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get to sleep during this stage of life?? 😴

Good morning!! Here’s a beautiful digital painting of a field of sunflowers, which I created yesterday evening by following a tutorial on YouTube by ‘Art with Flo’, where she teaches this interesting painterly technique, which I love, and have never really explored before. 🌻🌻🌻

There are a lot of built-in brushes within Procreate that I’ve never really used in my art, but it’s always interesting to try them out and make a beautiful painting at the same time!

I’m currently watching another tutorial on called ‘Digital Illustration of Patterns for Products’ by , so watch this space for some more art from that in due course! 🤩

I’ll share my timelapse for the sunflower painting in my stories.

We’re back to learning today, after the Easter half-term break (we home educate) and have been catching up with lesson on ‘Home Ed Lessons: Nutrients 1: Fats!’. Me and the kids highly recommend all these science lessons (and Lego Storytime), taught by Lara Stafford, a qualified Physics teacher!! 🧬🔬🔭🧫🥼🧪
