We carry a vast collection of music with a range of genres from 50’s Rock & Roll to the current top 40, also having been a long term member of Disco Mix Club a number of exclusive remixes and mega-mixes are also included in our catalogue, along with a growing number of Music video tracks which are projected onto our screen or can be plugged into a venues in house system. Every booking is priced accordingly, and is based on Venue size and the required times. Equipment used is of a professional standard, and depending on the venue size/expected number of guests and set up time available will determine what size show is used. All equipment is fully PAT certificated for your safety, and 1 Million Public liability is held with Music Guard Insurance. Should you wish to know more about the equipment a detailed list is available and can be easily emailed. Weddings:- MMD Entertainments have over 20 years experience in this field. Where possible we would normally set up prior to your wedding breakfast and return to take over from your MC or wedding planner for the evening. Announments for the 1st dance, buffets etc can then be left with us along with any other events that need to be highlighted i.e. Tossing of the Brides bouquet, departure of the Bride and Groom. We are happy for you to be as involved with the evening’s music as you want, or leave it to us to play to your guests tastes. An advance requests sheet is included with our initial booking contract which you can pre request 20 tracks. Our Music Library spans from 50’s Rock & Roll to the current top 40 Unless requested we avoid Peter Kays take on a Wedding Dj and do not play the likes of Jive Bunny, The Birdie song and stick to the classic party songs that are enjoyed by everyone. The shows include sound and lighting tailored to the venue size, available set up time, and the number of guests expected. Where possible a projector & screen is included in the show for music videos, personal messages, and if provided in advance we can also include your photos. Should you be looking to uplight your choosen venue in your wedding colours we have contacts in the industry that can provide this service. Karaoke:- Unfortunately, MMD do not offer this service, but have a number of contacts in the industry that we can recommend. Birthdays and Sweet 16’s:-
Should it be a milestone birthday or just an excuse for a party, MMD Entertainments can help you celebrate. With Nightclub style lighting, a quality sound system and a mix of music from our vast library we’ll help you make it a Birthday to remember. If you are thinking of a theme for your party, we can discuss music to complement your theme, and style the show to be in keeping with it. Should you want to uplight the venue to your colour scheme, or have Lasers included in the lightshow, we have contacts available that can provide these services at a separate cost.
