I've missed doing pottery appointments, but the other week I was able to gift these jugs that I painted as a thank you. I also recieved back from Perfectly Potty my hand thrown bowls. It was great to have a lesson on the wheel and gain some confidence in what I might have time to make here at home.

Don't forget if you have items at home from a paint at home kit you can return them to be glazed and fired.

I've been putting this off for a little while,

But it is with sadness that I am to announce the closure of Potty Peggy's Crafts.

This last year has brought changes that were not in my original plan and I find myself now coming to the difficult decision that Potty Peggy's as a business needs to close.

I love all I have achieved and value every one of my customers, the support I have been given by you all has been amazing.

With my current circumstances I can no longer give enough of my time and energy to the business and keep the high standards I strive to uphold.

Until the end of May I will offer the chance for you to buy paint at home kits, but unfortunately I will not be offering any studio appointments.

I will honour any customer who needs items glazed and fired for the next 6 months, so you can buy things to do and still get them completed with no rush.

I hope you will understand this decision has not been taken lightly. As a hobby I will continue to learn and improve on all things ceramic. The last year has taught us we don't know what the future will hold, Potty Peggy's Crafts may return but for now a break is needed.

Do you remember my cakestand give away?
Well yesterday the lovely Hannah was able to collect her prize.
It was wonderful to work with her and come up with this night sky design. If you know your consolations like this family you might be able to spot their favourites.
The Plough, Pegasus, Orion and Caseopia.

Now in time for Hannah to use over Easter weekend with something delicious on I hope.

I don't know about you but i am so pleased that we are able to enter the next stage of coming out of lockdown.
If you have planned a safe outside, distanced meet up with some friends or family over the next few weeks and you want to add some pottery painting to your time with friends then do get in touch.
I can make you up a box of all you will need, maybe enjoy all painting the same item or choose something special each to do.

Unfortunately i am not yet able to confirm when the studio will be open for bookings so for now these paint kits are a great way to get crafty and creative with people you enjoy spending time with.

Look at these lovely glaze effects.
Having thrown these a few weeks ago I was able to play with some different glaze effects. It's always exciting opening the kiln to see what has happened in there.

Just love having our Easter ceramics to fill with treats year after year.
The kids remember the year they painted them and now look forward to seeing them each year.

Looking forward to the final of The great pottery throw down tonight.
Been inspired to try some new things..... just need to shut myself away in the studio for a few days to get playing!

Feeling loved here on Mother's day.....
This jug will be gifted today and with a bunch of flowers will be looking gorgeous I'm sure.
