Thanks once again to our open mic'ers and our special guest Colin Hunt for a beautiful, intimate, moving night of words last night. Our open mic was graced by Dave Hubble, Haribo, Stephen R Smith, Cally Ann Kerr , Geoff Cole and our host Great Aunt Tranni who will be our special guest next month!

Thanks so much to our special guest Jordan Russell and to all our open mic'ers tonight!

Poetry allows us into one another's worlds - this evening we travelled to secondary school and the frustrations of being 16, through transgender stories, saw medical advances through the eyes of a non human animal, navigated a messy breakup in four songs and excellent banter, faced cancer, walked through fractured identities, heard love and the body spoken of in lilting Italian, imagined all the concrete
in the world turn purple, chanted in unison for trans rights, heard a poem written in conversation with an AI and ranted about the UK press.
