Showstoppers - Southampton University Musical Theatre Society Whether you want to perform, direct, choreograph, conduct or be in a pit band, we’re the society for you!

Showstoppers was nominated for the Best Society at the SUSU Excellence in Volunteering Awards in 2008, 2010 and 2012. As well as putting on shows, we are a highly social society - we organise loads of socials including theatre trips, balls and of course pub crawls. We are a very welcoming society and aim to give members the opportunity to expand their talents and learn new skills, as well as provide a lively social group within the Students Union.

say hello to teddy, the person in charge of committee minutes, munch, and (most importantly) our swear tally 😝

teddy is also our original writing officer!! after composing the music for this years independent show (peep what’s written as his fav show) it’s safe to say he’s qualified for the job.

introducing daisy, the person working with lilli to organise all of our social events!! 🌟

but that’s not all to daisy’s job…she’s also our tours officer for the second year running!

this means she organises things like theatre trips, not so secret cinema, and our big tour in the easter holidays! ✈️
