December 1st 2016 , exactly 1 year after my little boy gave me the worst day/days of my life after a head on motorcycle accident.
One crushed vertebrae in the neck , two cracked in the spine.Two broken and pinned femurs,broken wrist and on the only good arm reaction to intravenous dye which had the be cut to allow for swelling.
It was an amazing effort from everyone involved in saving his life and the fact that he’s standing in front of the hospital a year later was miraculous.
When the NHS works there nowhere better!

In 1944, men from the 43rd Wessex, 53rd Welsh, 15th Scottish and 11th Armoured Divisions finally took control of one of the most strategically important battlegrounds in northern France. It took ten weeks of fierce fighting and cost the lives of 10,000 men, but taking and holding Hill 112 allowed the Allies to retake Caen and continue the liberation of Europe.
