Hi everyone,iain here!!
I am Iain, the new promoter of BagCock Music Events. I am writing this to you with a lot of excitement and optimism for the future I will be running this alongside Velocity Security Solutions , First of all, I want to thank Paul for his amazing work and dedication over the years.He has been a awesome friend and a mentor to me, and I am honored call him so,and I will try to take over his role the best I can he’s a hard act to follow, I also want to clarify that the decision to cancel the previous event was not just Paul’s, but mine too. We both agreed that it was the best option for everyone involved, and we hope you understand. Paul should not take the blame alone, as he has done so much for this community and this scene. I am new to this role, so please bear with me as I learn and grow,I would love and appreciate your feedback and support.
I promise to try and keep his good work going and to bring you more quality music and entertainment. Paul has made a tough decision to step down, but I respect his choice and I wish him all the best.
Secondly, I have some new avenues and opportunities to explore in the future

Not an easy one to swallow this but….

It’s with much regret and frustration that we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to cancel Saturdays event with Butterfly Collective and The Hornets at The Woolston Masonic Hall
We would like to first express our sincere apologies to both bands and our guest DJ Kev for the cancellation and publicly stress that this is in no way laying at the feet of either act… and they in no way have had any control or influence on the final decision we HAVE to make ….in fact quite the very opposite
We’ve tried as best as we possibly can to make this happen primarily Saturday, and/or postpone to a future date but for a multitude of reasons we’re unable to do so… we all know the huge caliber of these bands and their busy schedules
So this decision although hard, lays nowhere else but at our feet at BagCock and we/i take all responsibility for the disappointment and frustration this causes to all of which we’re genuinely sorry to everyone involved and we’re looking forward to such an outstanding night…
Business decisions, ticket prices, promotional flaws have all probably played a part In us financially falling short in sales to ensure we can keep the event going ahead… something im big enough to admit and hold my hands up to and it’s definitely
Something I know Iain is working very hard on rectifying and changing the ethics with immediate effect once I’ve stepped down and handed full control to him

Please rest assured that we are offering a FULL refund to everyone that did purchase tickets to the event and that will be done immediately on contacting us (in exchange of physical tickets)

Again we apologise to all those affected by the cancellation and we are working hard to ensure this doesn’t happen again in ANY future event under the new Boss with immediate action
