Cracking day out on Lindisfarne, with big brother and sister from another mam.
It was once home to a monastery until those pesky vikings invaded; then after the Norman conquest of England, it was reistablished as a priory.
It's just a beautiful, peaceful, place to visit with so much history.
Just be watchful of those tide times if you plan to visit, you don't want to get cut off from the mainland :)

Cracking bimble around Thorney Island today, one of my favourite places. It's MOD land so you need to buzz in at the security gate and stick to the path around the edge of the island. Loads of wildlife and its so peaceful, bloody love it 🥰
