🧞✨ CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT – WIDOW TWANKEY ✨🧞

We're thrilled to announce that casting is now underway for this year's spectacular pantomime, Aladdin, at The Institute, Braintree!

Following the incredible success of last year's production, we're assembling another fantastic company of talented performers to bring this magical adventure to life this Christmas.

We're currently seeking an exceptional performer to take on the iconic role of Widow Twankey — Aladdin's larger-than-life mother and one of pantomime's most beloved characters.

We're looking for a performer with outstanding comic timing, strong audience interaction skills, excellent improvisation ability, and the charisma to have audiences laughing from their very first entrance.

✨ Professional production
✨ Paid principal role
✨ Performances at The Institute, Braintree
✨ Rehearsals and production period throughout December
✨ Performances running 16th – 31st December 2026
