Tues 16th Dec" 25 - our last Christmas social. Having fun with musical chairs and pass the parcel. The idea is that the person sits on the chair when music stops, and open one wrapper until the main wrapper is opened, and so on.

Tues 16th Dec" 25 - our last Christmas social. We brought bring and share foods, fun evening of dancing, musical chairs with pass the parcel rolled into one, bounce ping pong balls into the jars! And best dressed Christmas outfit!

We return (weather permitting) on Tues 6th Jan" 26. We welcome beginners to have a go at Appalachian dancing?

Beginners class starts 7pm - 7.45pm. First lesson free. A break around 8pm for tea's, coffee's and nibbles. Any age and abilities. If you've done tapping before, that's great but not important, as we'll give you training. Soft shoes to dance but not sandals, trainers and boots?

Lovely day of sunshine and wind, thank goodness it wasn't raining! One of our dancer, is retiring after 20yrs plus, and it was her last day dancing with us 😥. We will miss her terribly!
We had our lovely musicians, and two of them are dancers. Roll on for next year"26.

We danced in the hall this time, instead of being outside by the church ground, in case it rained? It was a hit and miss with bit of rain. It was a lovely day of dancing and being able to watch other performers.

We had audiences watching our dances. Our 4-5 piece band were brilliant, well played everyone. And especially to Mark, coming out to play for us, all the way from Andover, along with his wife, Stella. Much appreciated 🙏, thank you.

Mon 16th" June 25 - Chilthorne Domer. A lovely evening of dancing with the Wessex Morris, King Ina, Somerstep and us. The host was Wessex Morris and they laid out lovely finger nibbles.
We missed two of our dancers and a fiddle player from Andover. Our band played lovely tunes, as always. Thank you 🎻🎹🪕🪗💃🕺.

After everyone had eaten, we danced one more. Then boards were packed away with lots of helpers.
