South Molton Vintage Rally Club Based in South Molton, North Devon, we are a club for enthusiasts of vintage and veteran vehicles and machinery.

Our aim is to stimulate and encourage the preservation and restoration of vintage and veteran vehicles and machinery. We have an active programme of events, trips and activities to benefit our members and friends, as well as raising money for local and national organisations and charities. One week ago, in a field at Rackenford, South Molton's Patriotic Display Team – "The Red Furrows" – took to the ring for the very first time.

The mastermind behind the production, Martin Petherick, set out to create something entertaining and memorable. We're not sure even he realised just how much of an impact The Red Furrows would have over the rally weekend!

What started as an idea quickly became a firm crowd favourite, providing a dramatic, patriotic and unforgettable finale to the South Molton Vintage Rally 2026.

Photos alone don't do it justice, but talented young videographer Oliver How has brilliantly captured the spectacle. If you missed it during the rally weekend, now's your chance to see what everyone was talking about. And if you were there, why not relive the magic all over again? It really is something special.
