🎸 A GREAT NIGHT OF PINK FLOYD MUSIC – AND A GREAT CAUSE

Are you ready for an unforgettable evening of Pink Floyd? CRAZY DIAMOND are bringing their acclaimed tribute show, Shine Through the Years, to Somerton as part of our Music at St Michael's concert series.

From the psychedelic Syd Barrett era through to the classic albums, Crazy Diamond celebrate Pink Floyd’s remarkable musical legacy with outstanding musicianship and faithful performances of favourites including Money, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky, Another Brick in the Wall and Comfortably Numb.

🚁And if that's not enough, there’s another great reason to come along! In a fitting Pink Floyd connection - founding drummer Nick Mason has been a long-standing ambassador for the Air Ambulance charity - this special concert is raising funds for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

Thanks to everyone who supports and attends our events, we're able to support occasions like this recent afternoon of music at Wessex House.

A huge thank you to Somer Singers for treating the residents to a wonderful performance of a ca****la harmony, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there. 🎶

What a way to finish! 🎉

The Somerton Music & Arts Festival drew to a close last weekend with a Somerstock to remember.

Before that, our festival fortnight was packed with events across the town. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the festival and helped make it such a success.

You browsed the Art Exhibition, enjoyed performances from The British Carpenters and Bertie's Big Band, laughed along with the Mixed Massages farce, sampled delicious chocolates, uncovered the secrets of Somerton on the guided walk, listened to inspiring talks from authors and history experts, enjoyed fantastic live music from brilliant local bands in our pubs, learnt about service dogs and the Somerset Archives, discovered the art of brewing while tasting a selection of b**rs, and put your knowledge to the test at the Festival Quiz.

Although the festival is over, our wonderful Church continues to host events and have asked us to let you all know about their Lunchtime Recital of Flute and Piano by Dinah and Joshua Brown on Friday, 24 July 2026 - Admission is Free 🎶

Somerstock wrapped up last night and what an amazing weekend it was! The team completed the set down and clear up today and we have found a few items of lost property.
