Our open day is happening tomorrow 🙌.
There will be plenty of activities throughout the day. Come and see Kaye Parmenter Art's art demo (and fabulous exhibition) from 11 to 1pm.
Kids can make badges all day, and there will be a children’s workshop with starting at 1pm.
Community drawing will take place all day, inspired by the new exhibition by Julia McKenzie 🌸🌻🌺🌼
Sandra Meech will be in the gallery demonstrating her techniques, new workshops, and community projects and more. Enjoy coffee and cake, and enter our free raffle! We look forward to seeing you here.

There are just two places remaining on our drawing workshops with Julia McKenzie, which complement her exhibition The Making of a Wildflower Year that is currently on display.

Artist Julia McKenzie created over 70 drawings and paintings to illustrate Frances Tophill’s wonderful book celebrating some of the author’s favourite wildflowers.

Join Julia for this full-day drawing workshop, where she will share her expertise and experience in observing and recording plants and flowers found in the natural world. Using a variety of drawing tools and techniques, you will improve your skills in line, colour, and texture, while exploring ways to blend delicate linework with expressive shapes and layered colours.

With more than 30 years of teaching alongside her own artistic practice, Julia has developed a fluid line and a keen observational style that captures the imperfect beauty of nature.
