The Edge Festival Solva

Right. Nobody panic.

The Edge 26 recovery operation is officially underway.

Somewhere in Solva there are currently:

• a team of social media gremlins living off leftover coffee and festival crumbs ☕
• a website being poked, prodded and brought back to life with a suspicious amount of “computer magic” 💻✨
• several volunteers staring into the middle distance wondering what day it is, what year it is, and whether they really did just carry that much stuff up that hill 🤯

The dust has settled on the Edge Field, the last rogue cable has probably been found (no promises), the glitter is embedded in places glitter should never be embedded, and the collective “Edge hangover” is very much real.

We laughed.
We danced.
We shouted.
We lost our voices.
We hugged strangers like they were family.
We created another weekend that Solva won’t stop talking about.

And now… the little gremlins need a minute to work their magic, rebuild the website, upload the memories and convince the internet that yes, we absolutely did mean to create that much chaos.

But don’t worry…

THE EDGE DOES NOT SLEEP. 👀

Edge 27 is already stirring in the distance.

The dates are being finalised, the wheels are turning, and we’ll unleash the news as soon as the last spreadsheet, cable, coffee cup and slightly confused volunteer has been located.

Until then… put your feet up, tell everyone about the best weekend of the summer, and keep an eye out.

💛 EDGE 2026… WHAT A WEEKEND. 💛

And just like that, it’s over.

Three days of music, dancing, laughter, sunshine, rain, sore feet, big hugs, incredible food, cold drinks and memories we’ll never forget.

To every single person who came through the gates — THANK YOU. 🫶

To every artist, volunteer, trader, supplier, community group, supporter and member of our incredible crew — you are what makes the Edge happen.

The Edge is so much more than a festival.

It’s a platform for local and emerging musicians, poets, writers, crafters, chefs and creatives of all kinds to share their talents with the world.

And over the years, it has raised and donated more than £85,000 to local causes. 💛

That money has supported local groups, young people, education and community projects — but the impact of the Edge goes far beyond the money.

It’s the opportunities created.
The friendships made.
The memories shared.
The local talent showcased.
The community coming together.

That’s what makes it so special.

We laughed. We cried. We danced. We sang. We hugged. We absolutely loved every minute.

We hope you did too.

If you weren’t here, where on earth were you?! 😳

Electric Kicks absolutely smashed it as our headline act and night two went off exactly as it should. 🎸⚡🕺

We’ve danced, we’ve sung, we’ve laughed, we’ve probably knocked a few corners off ourselves… and now there’s just ONE MORE DAY between us and the working week. 😬

But forget all that for now.

Because today is the day we all love. ❤️

WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🤯🔥

Last night at Edge 26 was something truly special.

We laughed. We cried. We hugged. We danced. We sang until our voices gave up… and we absolutely, completely, utterly LOVED every single minute of The Stickmen Project in their headline slot! 🕺🎶🔥

From the very first beat to the very last song, they brought the energy, the chaos and the pure joy — and you lot gave it right back! 💥

There was something magical about last night. The kind of night where you look around and realise you’re surrounded by thousands of people having the absolute time of their lives. Friends, families, old faces, new faces, locals and visitors all coming together to make one unforgettable night in Solva. ❤️

And if your legs are aching, your voice has disappeared and you’re wondering why you thought that last dance was a good idea…

Congratulations. You did Edge Friday properly.

The Edge came out swinging yesterday and we are absolutely feeling it this morning.

Anyone else’s knees, hips and ankles sore? 😭

It’s not just me, is it?!

The legs may be struggling. The head may be questioning some decisions. The voice may have completely left the building.

BUT.

We’re doing it all again today. 😈🎶🍻

The Saturday lineup is ready. The bars are waiting. The sun is hopefully doing its thing.

Some of our very first Edge Festival attendees are back again this year and this time they’re bringing the next generation with them. ❤️🎪

From the original days of Edge to Edge 26, this one really is a family affair. Same festival, new faces, and a whole new generation making memories together.

That’s what Edge is all about friends, family, and a love for the Edge that keeps growing year after year. We love the Edge. 🫶
