The Morning After!
As most of our revellers slept in, the Festival Committee and some intrepid helpers (you know who you are!) were up early and began the clear up in the rain! After they'd finished you'd never have known that just 10 hours earlier hundreds of people had danced and sung their hearts out on the field. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped, but especially: John Read, Lisa Read, Tim Beresford, Steve Smith, Graham Hollway and the Sports Club cleaning staff.
Sadly, the weather meant that the Outdoor Church Service and BIG Lunch were cancelled but we took the opportunity to get Reverend Stuart Dimes to draw the raffle for us. All winners will be notified and receive prizes within the next week.

The Evening!
Where to begin?! We had delicious food provided by Pizza the Action, The Corner Shop and Mollie's Munchies & drinks from the Hampton In Arden Sports Bar. Our auction saw 5 items offered, with numerous bids raising lots of money and our winners will be contacted this week.
Then, we were treated to an evening of musical delights, started by Sav (& Bella) Singing Swing, followed by the wonderful SMC Jazz Band and ending with our headliners, 2 Weeks Notice! The evening culminated with our amazing firework display (and some touching tributes!) Thank you to everyone who came, had fun and respected our beautiful village! šŸ˜

The Daytime!
Wow! The weather was kind, you came out in huge numbers to support your local groups, organisations and businesses and what a day was had by all! 🤩 Thank you so much to all our wonderful stallholders, food providers, dog owners/dogs, performers, musicians, car exhibitors, tennis players, scarecrow and baking competition entrants, Birmingham Dogs Home, Urban Audio Productions and everyone who attended another FAB-U-LOUS Hampton Festival. Hope you enjoyed it?

Just 2 days to go and onsite preparations are well underway (a huge thank you to Urban Audio Productions, Marc Rolf, Trevor Honeysett & everyone else who has helped put up the marquee and staging etc). If you haven't seen it already the Hampton Chronicle has plenty of information about/photos of the festival (thanks Nick Worthington) in it.
Don't forget: The Dog Show starts @ 11am (prep those pooches), we'll have local bands playing throughout the day, mixed in with a showcase from TheatreTrain, a visit from the Mayor for the CGMT/HiAMs Bike Ride presentation, various food stalls, competition winners, Welly Wanging, the Car Show, Inflatables, Tennis Finals Day, 30 stalls and much much more...
In the evening, we'll have live music (inc: Swing, Jazz and 2 Weeks Notice), our auction and our fabulous firework finale!
Hope to see you there...
