🎭 The director’s view…

There’s nothing quite like watching a show begin to take shape from this angle.

Our next production, Wendy and Peter, is a fantastic reimagining of the classic Peter Pan story, adapted by Ella Hickson and originally created for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

It’s funny, moving, clever and full of adventure, with a fresh twist on the story we all think we know.

From blocking scenes to finding those little character moments, Neverland is slowly coming to life in the rehearsal room. ✨

We can’t wait to share it with you.

✨ Find someone who looks at you the way Smee looks at Captain Hook… ✨

Rehearsals are well underway for Union Theatre’s next adventure — Wendy and Peter, adapted by Ella Hickson from the much-loved book by J. M. Barrie. 🧚‍♀️🏴‍☠️✨

This isn’t quite the Neverland story you think you know though… Wendy and Peter puts a fresh twist on the classic tale, retelling the story from a different angle while keeping all the magic, mischief and adventure we love. ✨

And judging by this rehearsal shot, Smee may already be Captain Hook’s biggest fan… 😂❤️

And just like that… Nell Gwynn has taken her final bow 🎭✨

We are completely exhausted (the kind where your feet hurt and your voice has gone!)… but also so unbelievably happy and proud of what we’ve created together. From first rehearsals to that final curtain call, this cast and crew have given it everything ❤️

There’s something so special about bringing a story to life like this — the laughter, the chaos, the friendships, and those moments on stage you wish you could bottle forever.

Thank you to everyone who came to support us, cheered us on, and shared the journey. It truly means the world 💫

Now… time for a well-earned rest (and maybe a very large cup of tea ☕😉)

Until the next one… 🎭💛
