The Imperial Suite can seat up to 1,300 delegates in theatre style, with built-in AV and LED lighting to help keep everything running smoothly.

If you’ve held an event at the National Conference Centre, there’s a good chance you’ve met Dan, our Venue Manager!

Dan has been part of the NCC team for over 20 years, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the events industry with him.

He loves the variety that comes with the job - whether that’s solving a problem on the day, getting to know our clients or watching an event grow from a single-room booking into a full venue takeover.

And over the years, he’s met some pretty interesting people along the way… including Kylie and Boris Johnson!

We asked Dan what he enjoys most about working here, and honestly, we think it comes down to the people, the events and the fact that no two days are ever quite the same.

The National Conference Centre is located within the National Motorcycle Museum, bringing together a professional event environment with an experience that’s difficult to replicate elsewhere.

With 13 flexible suites, the venue can accommodate everything from boardroom meetings for 20 delegates through to large-scale conferences, exhibitions and gala dinners for up to 1,000 guests.

Beyond the event spaces, delegates can experience more than 1,000 beautifully restored British motorcycles and discover a collection that celebrates the innovation, craftsmanship and engineering behind British motorcycling.

We’re delighted to share that the National Conference Centre at the National Motorcycle Museum have successfully achieved ECOsmart Silver Accreditation for 2026-2027.

This accreditation recognises the work we’re doing to reduce our environmental impact and make our venues more sustainable. From improving energy efficiency through LED lighting and intelligent Building Management Systems, to generating renewable energy through our on-site solar panels, reducing waste and supporting greener travel options with electric vehicle charging points, we’re continuing to invest in more sustainable ways of operating.

This is an important achievement, but our sustainability journey doesn’t stop here. We’ll continue building on this progress and working towards a more sustainable future for our events, visitors and local community.
