First Tuesday of October can only mean that The Bull in Price St is host to the Roving Tuesday Folk Session this week.

Kicking off at 7:30 and ending when they stop serving, we talk turns to start a song or tune and the others join in as they are willing and able.

Next week we are blessed with it being the fifth Tuesday in September, and to mark the occasion we are taking the session on tour. We are off to Stratford Ale House by train.

Feel free to join us en route at any station. I plan to meet people at Snow Hill on the outbound journey and to leave the train at Shirley on the return.

Next Tuesday (22nd September) sees The Woodman, in Curzon St, Birmingham, hosting the Roving Tuesday Folk Session. We will be in the upstairs room at the back of the pub, having met outside for the last couple of months.

We sit around the perimeter of the room taking turns to start a song, or tune. The others join in as they are willing and able.

We think we are a friendly bunch and if we were any more laid back we would fall over!

We start at 7:30pm and continue until the pub chucks us out.

So, bring your instruments, your voices and your ears.
