Anyone looking to join a very friendly and supportive choir???
We are called Sing2gether and we meet Tuesday mornings in Carlton Parish church at 9.45am and start singing at 10am until 11am.
Everyone is welcome!! 🤗 There are no auditions and even if you think you can’t sing, why not come and try - you might surprise yourself!!!
We sing all kinds of music from pop to music theatre and even a bit of classical!! mainly in 2 and 3 part harmony.
We are led a qualified singing teacher and we work on vocal technique as well so you will also improve your singing 🤩

Wow!!!! Look at our raffle for tomorrow night!! Friday 28th November at 7pm
⭐️⭐️It’s free to come in⭐️⭐️
As well as our legendary raffle there will be mulled wine and mince pies as well as tea and coffee available.
Our charity this year is Howdenshire Music who organise live classical music events in Howden and also provide outreach events to promote music in schools in this area!!!
On top of that the choir can’t wait to share their music with you!!

We had a lovely afternoon singing our Christmas music at the Memory Cafe in Howden today.
It’s always a pleasure to be there!
We can’t wait for our concert on Friday evening now.

We are really looking forward to our Annual Concert at Carlton Parish Church on Friday 28th November.
We will be singing all kinds of music and the second half will be Christmas music with a chance for you to join in. There might be a few surprises along the way as well!!!
It’s free to come in and we will have tea/coffee, mulled wine and mince pies available. There will also be our legendary raffle.
We will be raising money this year for a local charity which many of the choir and local people have benefitted from called Howdenshire Music. They bring professional musicians from all over the UK and even Europe to perform concerts in Howden Minster which people can attend for free so it’s very appropriate in that it fits with our own ethos of keeping music live for free!!!
We really hope you can come and join us for what promises to be a very heartwarming evening!

We had a wonderful practice on this Remembrance Day followed by 2 minutes silence at 11am and then we sang In Flanders Fields.
