I couldn’t write a first birthday post without thanking the people who have been behind me through absolutely everything. And this deserved its own post.

Mom, Dad and Richard - thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Thank you for believing in me when I was full of doubt. For listening to endless ideas, worries and plans. For helping when things were hard, celebrating when things went well and supporting me through all the bits of running a business that nobody sees. For helping to run around serving drinks, running food from the kitchen, doing the shopping, going to Makro, dropping something to us that we are running out of, supporting my team - always, tidying, cleaning everything, doing the washing, fixing ALL the broken toys... helping me in ways that only the team at Pippatopia really get to see.
You have seen the highs and the lows, the tears and the celebrations, the late nights and the endless to-do lists. You have been there through all of it, and I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you ❤️

To the Pippatopia Team, the Dream Team - you are all incredibly beautiful, strong and fierce women and I am so proud you are a part of Pippatopia. You have built Pippatopia into what it is and I couldn’t have done it without every single one of you. The way you all love Pippa when she’s trying to help in the kitchen, or tidy up after a session, the cuddles, time and patience you have for her fills my heart. Thank you.

You are the reason behind the name, the reason this place exists and the reason I took the biggest leap of my life.
I created Pippatopia because I wanted to build something special for families, but I also wanted to build a life where I could be the mom I wanted to be. A mom who can do the school runs, attend the assemblies, watch the performances and be there for the moments that matter.
Just like my mom was always there for me, and still is.

And I’m incredibly proud that I’ve managed to do that.

🎂✨ ONE YEAR OF PIPPATOPIA ✨🎂

I honestly don’t quite know where to start.

Our VIP birthday party was just incredible 🎈🪩.

One year ago, I opened the doors to Pippatopia with a very big dream, a lot of nerves and absolutely no idea just how much this little business would change my life.
When I look back at the last year, I feel so many different emotions. Pride, gratitude, exhaustion, excitement, disbelief… and probably a few other words I shouldn’t put on here! 😂

There have been incredible highs, some really difficult moments, lessons I never expected to learn, mistakes I’ve had to own, decisions that have kept me awake at night and moments where I’ve wondered whether I was actually capable of doing all of this.

But then there have been the moments that make everything worth it.

The children walking through the doors with the biggest smiles.
The families who come back week after week.
The birthday parties, the events, the first words, the first steps and all the little memories we’ve been lucky enough to be part of.
Watching our team grow.
Seeing Pippatopia become a real part of our community.
And somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like my little business and started feeling like our Pippatopia.

To every single person who has visited, booked a party, brought a friend, left a review, shared a post, recommended us, bought a coffee, celebrated with us or simply cheered us on from the sidelines...

You have helped turn something that once existed only in my head into something real.

One year in, I still have absolutely no idea what the next year will bring, and most days are a blur!!
But I do know that I’m excited for it.
There are so many more ideas, events, adventures and dreams waiting to become reality... and if the last year has taught me anything, it’s that anything is possible when you care enough to keep going✨
