Mural Artist Brief
Commission: Internal wall mural celebrating dance and Creative Academy’s history
Background
Creative Academy is seeking a visual artist to design and paint a mural on an internal wall of our building. The artwork should visually represent the art of dance alongside a celebration of Creative Academy’s history and journey.
Brief Requirements
* Concept should capture the energy, movement and expression of dance
* Design should incorporate visual references to Creative Academy’s 24-year history and milestones
* Mural must be suitable for an internal wall (materials, paint type and finish to be specified by artist)
* Design should reflect the identity and creative spirit of the Academy
Timeline
* Creation window: Half-term week beginning Monday 26th October 2026
* Official unveiling: Monday 3rd November 2026, marking Creative Academy’s 24th anniversary
Submission Requirements
Interested artists should submit the following:
* A brief outlining creative ideas/concept for the mural
* A cost breakdown for materials and labour
* A current CV
* Examples of previous work/portfolio

Selection Process
* Successful candidates notified: Monday 14th September 2026
