A great opportunity for artists at Hub-Sleaford

Calling all Artists!

Hub Sleaford and Sleaford Museum are inviting artists to take part in Common Ground: Sleaford’s Shared Stories; a dual-site exhibition and engagement programme exploring local heritage through new perspectives. 8 Jul–8 Nov 2026

We’re looking for artists who want to work with museum collections, local communities and lived experience, asking: who and what has been historically excluded from local heritage and cultural spaces, and how can we actively change that?

Two opportunities available (apply for one or both):

↪️Three Commissions for New Work
✨Artist fee £3,000
✨Materials/production budget £1000
✨Travel & accomodation up to £1000

↪️Three Artist Residencies.
✨Artist Fee £1,500
✨Residency materials £200
✨Travel & accomodation £500

One of the most delightful surprises in the Finale photo collection was the abundance of striking portraits of both festival-goers and performers. It’s the people who breathe life into RiverLight, and these close-up, personal shots beautifully reflect the heart of the festival, a serene pause amid the lively bustle.
