Join us on Skipton High Street and Canal Basin on Sunday 28th June 2026 for a full day of FREE family fun!
Skipton's High Street and Canal Basin will be packed with activities, food, entertainment, and plenty of sheep-themed fun for all ages.

Make sure you head down to the Canal Basin, where you can enjoy beautiful woodland walks, admire the wonderfully decorated canal boats, try your hand at the bucking rodeo sheep, meet some adorable animals, and even make ice cream from scratch – straight from the cow to your cone! 🍦

We are commemorating the armed forces by incorporating Armed Forces Day celebrations into Skipton Sheep Day, which is taking place on Sunday 28th June!

The Haworth Home Guard will be joining us with regimental displays, military vehicles and deactivated artillery. The 5th Regiment will also be in attendance displaying multiple vehicles and kits used.

The Armed Forces Day Flag Lowering Ceremony at 3pm will take place outside the Town Hall.

Armed Forces Day celebrations will take place on the setts outside the Town Hall.
