Skipton LIVE

🎶 Your Town. Your Stage. Your Music. 🎶

The Skipton Live committee met for our first full post-festival debrief on Sunday 4th October, and we’re delighted to report that our first Skipton Live was a success.

From the beginning, our ambition has been to create a vibrant annual celebration that brings people together through music and shared experiences across our town - showcasing local and emerging talent while making live music accessible to residents and visitors alike.

This first festival was an important step towards that ambition.

With the final figures now coming together, we’re delighted to confirm that all musicians who performed as part of the ticketed programme at Craven Arts House are in the process of being paid within October.

And we’re not quite finished celebrating 2026 yet…

In February, we’ll be holding a Skipton Live Appreciation Evening, bringing together the musicians, volunteers and sponsors whose time, talent and support helped make our first festival happen.

🎵 And after an encouraging first year, dates for Skipton Live 2027 are already under discussion.

Our goal has always been to build something sustainable that can grow year by year - in audiences, partnerships and cultural impact — while remaining firmly rooted in Skipton and its community spirit.

To everyone who performed, volunteered, sponsored, hosted, promoted, attended, danced, sang along or simply stopped to listen: thank you for being part of the beginning.

Now, on to the next chapter…

Your Town. Your Stage. Your Music.
