What a fantastic moment on Saturday during the after hours event where I got to do my first ever solo front row on Hyperia and wow what a moment that was after all isn’t often you get to choose your own row on the UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster 🎢

Today we are heading to THORPE PARK Official for our first Attraction Source event with a presentation and Q&A from Merlin magic making followed by an opportunity to buy some signs and then group ride take overs and a hours ERT on Hyperia when park closes

It’s been announced that Alton Towers is holding a Minecraft meet the mobs from the 18th July - 28th August 2026,

However this feels like a real disappointment as Minecraft has no relevant connection to Alton towers and this just is like another money gain to get more people in when Chessington World of Adventures Resort should be holding this event with them getting the Minecraft land in 2027.

THORPE PARK Official have now opened depth charge 30 minutes before the main park opens while this is a good idea it is a shame there isn’t another attraction that’s open that’s suitable for disabled guests aswell.
