Accessibility isn't just about removing barriers. It's an opportunity to think creatively about how more people can experience and engage with the things we create together.

The first in our Autumn/Winter Talks & Workshops Series, Thinking Creatively About Access welcomes Lily Norton from Stopgap Dance Company for a free online session exploring how accessibility can be embedded into creative projects, events and experiences from the very beginning.

You don't need to be an access specialist to take part. Whether you're involved in arts, culture, community projects, events, or simply interested in creating more welcoming experiences, this session is an opportunity to explore new ideas and take away practical tools for your own work.

Over the last few weeks, our team has been out and about finding inspiration

Community Producer Hannah and Assistant Producer Anita have been exploring WOW! Fest in Walsall, while Creative Producer Kieran and Director of Business Development James travelled to FETA Festiwal in Poland.

It’s always exciting to experience the incredible work being created nationally and internationally, connect with fellow creatives, and discover new ideas that help shape what we do.

Across the SO Festival weekend in Skegness and Mablethorpe, audiences stepped in, joined the action and became part of the performances themselves. These shared moments are at the heart of SO Festival.

Looking back to last weekend at SO Festival, let's celebrate our wonderful SO Festival Team! We have a small core team of five year-round, but expand to an amazing team of freelancers, Festival Assistants, Tech, Security, Production, Safety and more for the run-up to and over the festival period.
