I have done my fair share of charitable work over the years and I have helped where I am able. I often get asked to do free stuff at fetes, festivals etc where apparently I can "Showcase my talents and hand out my marketing material." To be honest, I get mildly offended by this - let's be honest, they just want free entertainment and they don't value me enough to pay me. These days I just help a couple of lovely organisations which mean a lot to me.

So this email from Diggerland, an award winning family attraction which earn millions of pounds annually just takes the biscuit. They want families to spend their hard earned money at their park but expect outside entertainers to work there for free. Shame on you Diggerland.

Now, back to the magic and silliness......
