With host Liza Tarbuck, judges Keith Brymer Jones and Rich Miller, and celebrity potters Layton Williams, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Denise van Outen, Paul Merson, Lucy Beaumont and Richard Herring.

As we move towards cooler days, September can symbolise a fresh start for many, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to pick up a new hobby or learn a new skill. Pottery is an immersive craft, taking you out of your head and into the physical act of making. Pinching, moulding and smoothing a lump of clay into a beautiful object can be a deeply cathartic practise, especially when paired with a steaming cup of tea and a calm environment filled with like-minded makers.

If you’re not sure where to start, our 6 week Introduction to Ceramics course covers all the basics, including pinching, coil-building, slab-building and throwing, with a gentle structure which allows you to delve into your individual creativity. Our next course commences on Wednesday 23rd September, every week from 9:30-12:30.
