☕️ What a won-dough-ful time we had at our recent Afternoon Tea event. The sun shone, airplanes flew overhead, wellies were thrown, ducks were caught, raffle prizes won, and so much fun was had.

🍰 Our cast and crew definitely got into character, showing off their baking prowess in readiness for their arrival into the Bake Off Tent this autumn in Sidmouth.

🎭We had a break from the Bake Off tent to visit our friends at Sounds Musical Theatre Company, Plymouth last night for their current production of The Great British Bake Off Musical which runs until Saturday. Congratulations to everyone involved on a real won-dough-ful production!

🍰 𝗚𝗕𝗕𝗢 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝘆

💙We’re delighted to introduce the wonderful Ivy and Rosie, who will be sharing the role of Lily in our forthcoming production of The Great British Bake Off Musical.

⭐️ Lily is the nine-year-old daughter of Bake Off contestant, Ben. Fun, feisty and wise beyond her years, Lily brings joy to the tent as she helps her dad rediscover his love for baking and for life.

🎭 Rosie will be playing Lily at the evening performances on Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 October, along with the matinee performance on Saturday 24 October. Ivy will be playing Lily at the evening performances on Wednesday 21, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October .

❤️ Their strong friendship and love of musical theatre are already shining through.

🎭𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹: 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻

🍰 We’re now casting the role of Hassan in our forthcoming amateur production of ‘The Great British Bake Off Musical' and would love to hear from anyone who feels they might be right for this fantastic part.

🎪 Hassan is the youngest contestant in the tent, currently studying for his A Levels. A bold, self taught baker from Wembley, he has more confidence than experience and isn’t afraid to take risks.

💪🏻 He’s energetic, rebellious and determined to prove himself, but beneath the swagger is real heart and a strong desire to make his family proud.

💙 This is a standout role full of energy, humour and vulnerability.

➡️ Male, ideally able to authentically portray Hassan’s Middle Eastern heritage but we are willing to consider alternative perspectives on the role.
➡️ Playing age 17-20
➡️ Tenor, approx C3 to B4
➡️ London accent

📍Show week is 18-25 October at the Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth. However, rehearsals will be held in Rockbeare or Exmouth.

🌻 In celebration of International Women's Day, here’s a wonderful memory of our very own “Calendar Girls”, who last October honoured on stage the real-life women of Rylstone WI in Yorkshire. Their inspirational calendar raised funds, spirits and laughter, proving that friendship, courage and hope can triumph over all.

🍰 Our next show will be “The Great British Bake Off Musical”, which features among the cast some equally brilliant women, whose individual stories portray their own strength, determination and achievements. We cannot wait to bring their stories to life in this fun and heartwarming production coming to the Manor Pavilion Theatre Sidmouth stage.

🏆 At our recent launch night, members of our fabulous “Great British Bake Off Musical” company really got into the spirit of the Bake Off tent, showing off their “Showstopper” skills with some amazing gingerbread decorating. The judges most definitely approved!

🎭 We had such a brilliant time and are now ready and waiting by our ovens for rehearsals to begin.

We can’t wait to bring this funny and heartwarming musical to the stage of the Manor Pavilion Theatre Sidmouth from 20-24 October 2026.
