Rising star Frankie Archer blends ancient stories, powerful vocals and contemporary electronics, while We Are The Monsters take things into rave ceilidh territory with their explosive mix of traditional tunes and driving beats.

Then keep dancing with Token Women. Known as the "Divas of the Dance World", this unique seven-piece all-female band combine fiddles, cello, keyboard, saxes, clarinets, tuba and trombone in an irresistible celebration of European dance music guaranteed to keep the floor moving.

No strangers to Sidmouth but it will be lovely to see these two playing together this summer!

A unique intergenerational duo – both virtuoso players – John Kirkpatrick and Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne are an exciting new musical combo exploring the possibilities of concertina music in an entertaining and joyous celebration of their art. Both energetic and charismatic performers, this duo highlights their kindred passion for English traditional music and song, whilst both also finding inspiration from a range of other musical genres as part of their sets.

Expect visceral performances of traditional songs and tunes and a few surprises along the way. Spoiler alert: get ready for the world’s first duet for bass Anglo concertinas!
