⭐ Wigle Spotlight ⭐
This week, we're celebrating Ella Davies, who has secured a place at Guildford School of Acting (GSA) to study the three-year BA Theatre Production course! 🎭✨
Ella's journey with Wigle began in a rather different way. Her very first experience wasn't on stage - it was sitting beside James on the sound desk during our production of Elf in December 2024.
From that moment, she discovered a passion for everything that happens behind the scenes. Since then, Ella has become an invaluable member of our technical team, working across productions including Shrek, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, and Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Along the way she's taken on a huge variety of roles, from operating projections for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to Assistant Musical Director for Annie and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as sound mixing for We Will Rock You and Jamie.
Now that she's turned 18, she's also been getting stuck into the excitement of get-ins and get-outs, gaining even more hands-on experience in live theatre.
Throughout her time with Wigle, we've watched Ella's confidence grow enormously. She's embraced every opportunity to learn, develop new skills and become an integral part of our production team. It's been a pleasure to support her journey - and we know she'll continue to thrive at GSA.
Ella has one very clear ambition: to be mixing musicals in the West End and across the UK... with Hairspray firmly at the top of her dream list! 🎧🎶
Ella, thank you for everything you've brought to the Wigle family. We couldn't be prouder of everything you've achieved, and we can't wait to see where your talent and determination take you next.
