Drumroll please... The winner of our School Garden Competition is Moreton Say Primary School Gardening Club 🙌 🪏 🪴

Thanks to David Wilson Homes & Barratt Homes, Moreton Say Primary School Gardening Club has won £1,500 to transform their outdoor community area.

A big thank you to everyone who entered. It was a tough competition, and the entries were fantastic!

Recreating Dig For Victory with Shrewsbury Mayor, Bernie Bentick 🥔 📸

Did you know that Shrewsbury Quarry was ploughed to grow potatoes as part of the war effort in World War II? The Dig For Victory campaign was a British Government Initiative launched to encourage people to grow their own food, and Shrewsbury Quarry was one of the locations chosen for that campaign!

Thanks to your generous donations, we're so pleased to announce that our dancing piggies, Shropshire Rural Support, raised £419.50 at this weekend's Shrewsbury Food Festival 🙌

Over in the Field To Fork area, Shropshire Rural Support hosted milking challenges on Scooby Moo and spoke to visitors about the Dig For Victory campaign right here in Shrewsbury Quarry. And occasionally, they made their way to the dance floor as inflatable pigs, and they were fantastic!
